If ever there was an anthem for the adolescent, juvenile, irreverent, rock & roll side of my brain - this is it. When I was much younger I couldn't wait for the new releases from the Stones, the Who, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, U2, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Prince, Tina Turner, Joan Jett, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, AC DC, Lady Gaga, Chuck Berry, Iggy Pop, Nirvana, Guns & Roses, the Eurythmics, the B52s - and all the other wild rockers. I was stunned and awed by Michael Jackson - in a class by himself. To this day I love to listen to them all. I love all forms of music with one exception. I have been moved by classical, motown, country, r&b and definitely influenced by the blues . But what excites me most to this day - well the title of this song says it all - Its Rock & Roll For Me!
